correct the a2 bearings have a coating no other bearing has.

Ok so the acl bearings for the a2, will work in my z3 block with my z3 crank just fine? I ask because the tech at acl told my shop differently when he was trying to order bearings.

No i refer as to OEM, acl is acl.

Don't know if this helps but I used a2 acl bearings on my z1 crank I'm a a2 block. I know it's not what you are asking but I figured I would post it anyways just incase

Yea thanks, I'm going with the acl bearings. From what I've read, the crank and rod part numbers are the same for the z3 and a2 so how could the bearings be different? The part numbers for the bearings are different, but that is probably because of the coating monjarassi was talking about.

You mean z3 block? And what made you go OEM rather than ACL?
