Lol thats why you dont mess up. I was scared to mess up doing my inserts. Thats why you make sure your cardboard template fits before you cut your materials.

You know, I should use cardboard as a template...but i just start cutting away in the hopes it fits. 26% of the time it works everytime lol

Well some more spring cleaning today. Got a little bored and decided to strip more sound deadening from the car as well as remove speakers. This was alot more work than I thought. I took out the carpet, seats, old wires and also all the door speakers. I dont plan on rocking a radio for a little bit, just at least to I start doing some driving, but for now all that is gone including factory speaker wiring.

I had already done the trunk a year back so i just needed to worry about the front.

There you can see my little temporary radio block off and my future gauge setup

and after 3 hours of work...

I wasn't able to get out allll of the deadening but maybe about 95%. There is still some under the fire wall mat, and on the vertical panels that i honestly didn't feel like doing anymore lol

I did weigh all the sound deadening i did remove and it was around 12 pounds in the front section alone. speakers were another 5 pounds total, so today was a good day to drop another 17~ lbs from the car

    more to come
