Much better now! And this video is dope, can't wait to hear that whine! And hmmm... weird. Restart your phone and see if it happens when it reboots, your SD card might need to be "reread"

I must admit that after putting the rest of the gears on the shaft it doesn't look as cool.

You can see it covers more of the top of the cam.

Had to rethink the water pump location because things look much different with the motor mostly assembled and it won't work the way I originally planned. I'll update with that once the fitting comes in.

Here's a little teaser for you.....

Looks nice man! Are you not using a traditional water pump?

No way José. Im using a davies craig ewp. It is controlled by a box that you can on the fly adjust the temp of the motor.

Since its electric its variable speed and can spin slowly if the motors cold or soin fast if the motors hot. It also will keep the ewp on while the cars shut off for 2 min to prevent heat soak only if its over the set operating temp.

Idk about you guys but I can't stand using vacuum caps to cover unwanted coolant ports.

So I pulled the upper coolant neck and pulled out the tubes

I have a couple 1/8" npt allen caps I'm going to plug the holes with. So I have to pen the holes up to .343" for the tap.

And I always chamfer the edges for the tap to enter clean and straight.

And of course every place local is sold out of the tap. So to mcmaster.com I go to ordrr one. Good thing is it will get here tomorrow since they are located in Nj and it only takes 1 day ground shipping.

Nice! Make a DIY when all is said and done. This is awesome.

Ok ill make a diy on that.

Cleaned the garage out. It was a complete mess and I couldn't see the floor. But thanks to two friends and a couple hours I ended up with this.

The pics truly don't do it justice. Need to wait till the weekend to fire up the truck and get the other stuff out of the way. Then it's time to get a hustle on the tear down.
