Should get another chance to work on the car tonight. I had my son last night. I don't work on the car when I have him so today's my next chance.

How'd your tranny wrestling match go last night?

The bitch just won't let go. I've done 15 transmissions and not 1 time had this issue. I have to buy a new case. I'm going to have to cut this one open.

There's gotta be something. Maybe bring it to SRT and see if they can get it open? Or maybe vdubkilla can suggest something

It's really that there is something keeping the bearing locked in. Most likely a piece of broken metal. I went and bought a couple pair of snap ring pliers even tho I've never needed them. I just used needle nose pliers. And in trying everything under the sun to get the clip free I've damaged the threads

I know and that makes it all the more aggravating when you have done stuff several times and run into issues due to something simple but it happens .

Finished pulling the motor out tonight. Took a couple pics and then a fast motion video clip of removal. Just wanted to play around with it and I'm also trying to take more pictures of the progress in total. Still need to order the case and bearings along with new flywheel and final drive bolts. They have been reused 3 times so I'd say it's time to replace.
