9psi is pretty much the limit without cooling. You should be ok but i would keep an eye on your IATs

You make 12 psi at 3600?! Doesn't it build linearly from there to redline?

Yes its linear- but it makes boost a lot quicker on the low cam before the crossover due to back pressure in the cylinder head ( smaller cam lobe= not as much flow)- once it crosses to the high cam boost drops 2-3 psi then continues to build linearly until redline.

Check what your blower rpm's are. I ran 10 psi for a year or so before adding cooling. My set up it was 5.46(CP)/3(BP0x8600(RPM)=15,652 rpm's. On hot days you want to be smart and not do multiple pulls in a row but it is easily done. I ran at the 1/4 mile track and DD'd the car. Every set up will very buy set up do to air flow/exhaust flow. Allowing air more available to the blower is really beneficial as well. Like bigger inlets and bigger TB's.

What is your boost at redline?! I'm thinking you're at 12 psi that early on you must be at 20 psi? By redline?

I max out at 14ish psi at 7800 rpm. At the crossover it drops to around 8-9 psi then it builds linearly from there. Its a positive displacement blower so boost is going to depend on the engines flow characteristics.

Take the 62" back and tell them you need a 56" if that is what you measured it at. They can use the belt number to find the belt in the size you need. I take it that this is a RSX or a swap car?
