How does it compare to oem LSD? There's a guy 07blksi and he now has a quaif and omg he tracks his car harder than any Si I've seen vids of on a stock tranny and he probably had 2 yrs on it before it broke again. I wonder if a legit LSD could help tranny wreckage?

Adding an aftermarket LSD won't help save the tranny. You figure all the LSD is doing is transferring power to the wheels through the gears. The gears will get abuse with any differential in there.
Also it depends on how the cars driven. Ex. Does he take his time when shifting, does he feather the clutch out after a shift to minimize shock to the gears, also drag radials put more abuse on a transmission then slicks do. The slicks give you some cushion while radials have a street tire like sidewall

Preloading is a method of launching where you rev to your desired rpm with the emergency brake pulled with finger on the lock. Then you start to raise the clutch to the point where it is pretty much catching and the car wants to move forward, but you are preventing that by holding the emergency break. Then when its time to go you drop the e-brake and go. Someone on here made the analogy that launching without preloading is like hitting a brick wall with a hammer as hard as you can, and launching with preloading is like placing the hammer on the wall with little force, then applying as much pressure as you can.
^ Great analogy. I like that
