hmmmmmm not sure what to make of this... maybe just coincidental but feel like i need to share for those who are interested. SO chasebays does wire harnesses as everyone knows, they also sell connectors and pins (generally pretty expensive) but while looking for connectors i was just browsing through the back pages of google and noticed something familiar.

which is the same exact pic as...

like even the hairs on the connector are the same. On the first pic you can see city of origins which is a chinese city i cannot pronounce. and for reassurance

    and for clarification

don't want to make this into another realstreet call out or skunk2 bounty hit, honestly, im hoping that they are factory generic pics or something. Just something that peaked my curiosity

hell when I got my chaseharness one of my biggest complains were the connectors. They were all dirty, two of them had paint on them like some ricer just spray bombed his engine bay and didn't cover the plugs and it's obvious chase just uses whatever connectors he has. I'd love to redo most the connectors.

I guess let me say this, It is extremely difficult to find actual honda plugs from the distributor. Like its damn near impossible. Only one brand of connector is actual somewhat easy to get and those are the ECU plugs. After 3 months of looking im still missing 3 different connectors. The main problem is that the main manufacturer of the connector of honda doesn't sell small quantities. They want people to buy around 20,000 pieces. Ive talked to a few guys who deal with them and they have their ways of getting them through contacts in Japan. But for the rest of us, we have to pay premium prices for the connectors from stateside companies. It wouldn't be surprising if the bigger names used China models as they are extremely cheap and easy to get in big quantities. Again it's all speculation, but after talking to a few people in the industry, it seems more and more possible.
