Throttle body size on a turbo/rotrex setup is less crucial than a roots-type blower. That's why you made 550whp on the stock Si tb. A roots blower sucks air in, and is limited greatly by tb size. However, rotrex blowers/turbochargers are forcefully pushing air into the motor, forcing more fuel as well. Tb size is still important, but greatly different than a roots blower type situation.
















Hopefully others can chime in and say I'm wrong and give you lots of things to look at! I would like to know as well because hopefully this weekend I will be checking out a z1 bottom end (all stock) to use temporarily while I get funds together for a motor build.
