no need for that, just clip the wire off the pump ground, no need for it no more.

How bad was it pulling your evap system behind the fuel tk? I have it deleted in the engine bay but i was considering deleting all of it too

Not bad at all to be honest took me fairly 5 min but the biggest problem is a vent hose from the tank to the canister, that sucker there can be a PITA to do so the trick is press the 2 sides together with all your cojones and it'll pop off.
