After all the work of adding the surge tank i didnt realize the tray to the diffuser was gonna interfere and needed minor trimming. All buttoned up well and all needed now is new L bracket and itll be solid again.

This all looks way too familiar- im doing the exact same thing to my fuel cage as we speak. What did you use to plug the stock return to the intank regulator?

yes. u need to cause it takes power away from the pump

What did you do with the black wire attached to it? Im not sure if its just a ground or what it is- any ideas?

i pulled it off the regulator and removed the regulator itself too. the wire is ground.

So you just left it attached to the cage? Sorry- im just trying to figure out how critical it is
