Max tire size?

Hey guys I'm having a serious problem with traction on my 215's at 375whp. How wide of a tire can I run without rubbing? 235?

Are you on stock rims? I fit 235/40/17 on the stock rims just fine and had no traction issues at ~375whp/~260wtq on my old turbo setup. I was using dunlop z1 star specs.

The kind of tire Also makes a big Difference. Seems everyone running the star spec z1 ate having great success. My friend cut a 1.9 60' on then with his srt4. So I'd get a set in what aLmk suggested. I'm running 235/45/17 on stockrims But they are fuzion zri and they spun bad at 330whp. Now even more so. My next set will be the star specs as well.

The z2 star specs replaced the z1s and are even better.

if your not lowered at all and have the right rim setup you can run 245's without rubbing at all upfront.

Yea I'm making 375whp and 264wtq. Running xxr527's 17x8.25 +25. Found some nitto nt555's 245/45/17. Guy is only asking $150 for two of them. Have like 1000 miles on them. Still waiting for pics

Yea. I can get them brand new though for $125/tire with a $75 mail in rebate so thinking about doing that. Just didn't know if they would be to wide

    Re: Max tire size?

Plus won on the Z2's I might go with 235 on stock. I got 245/40 on 17+35's stock height and no issues.
