Alright so yesterday was 48 degrees which is a heatwave. So I was able to open the garage door and work on the car... So I attempted to install my new TopOne rear diffuser... I'm extremely disappointing right now and will be calling them shortly to figure out what is going on.

But here is my install so far.. (sorry sun was setting, getting cold, so pictures get darker)

First removed the three screws on each side of the bumper

Then removed the four 8mm nuts holding the taillights in

I removed the taillights to make removing bumper easier

Then pulled the bumper off and set it to the side

Now this bad boy is in the way.. luckily the brackets are weak so you will need to bend it off to the side a little. Just push it in towards the center of the car

Then hold up your race brackets to the pinch welds and mark your holes

Now grab your drill and go to town

Make sure to file the backside down smooth

    Then mount your brackets

Do the same for the other side of course

Now the shitty part... since it's a real diffuser if you have any pretty accessories like a beaks bar it must come off

so you can install these brackets on the sway bar bolts

So this step not necessary if not running a beaks bar

But here you can see where I mounted the bracket. Now make it tight enough to stay but not to tight so you can't adjust it.

Now I laid my diffuser under the car and started with the front. Use the two longer bolts and mount them here loosely

Then lift the diffuser and bolt to the brackets you just installed

Now here is the shitty part... here is where it's not working out. Apparently the 05-06 rsx is different than 02-04 in the rear or they are using the same brackets as DC2 without trying them out.. (they kept telling me to reference DC2 photos for install)

The driver side is lower than the passenger side for pinch weld locations... I didn't notice till I tried to mark holes for diffuser...

This is driver side... fits great

this is passenger side... not so much, short about 2.5"

So i measured the height of the pinch welds...
    driver side

    Passenger side

So now I'm waiting to hear back from TopOne as I emailed them, and will be calling them this afternoon if no response...

Damn that sucks. If anything you can always make a bracket extension. But being top1 it should fit dead on.

I got this in the mail yesterday. I'm excited as it will replace the vent I just painted black last season to get by

Also sent my front bumper and all my turbo parts to the painter today. Gonna have him redo my front from all the scrapes

And mocked up my new downpipe
    (upload error but looks cool)

This is all getting ceramic coated black

Love the new downpipe. Out of curiosity in what order do you have your sensors in the exhaust? I see all 3 are very close and right behind each other.

I forgot to mention that part. Ok so the highest bung I just welded on when I made the other half of the downpipe. My AEM A/F gauge will be going there. The middle one is unusable as it won't clear the sway bar. Then my factory O2 is on the back one closet to flex pipe.

Gotcha. I was going to say they may not read right all bunched up like that but sounds like you took care of that
