I did that on my old DC5 but it only lasted like a month. Between getting scraped and getting wet it didn't hold up very well.

I did that on my crx. The stainless exhaust got stained from it holding in moisture. I wouldn't do it again. It was a cool thought but the benefits were next to none. And a waste of 50 bucks per roll

Yea thats why I didn't wrap mine (plus thats extra weight lol). I just got it temp coated black like his manifold
