    DE: k20z3 transmission or a3 gear set

    Looking to buy a z3 trans in excellent working condition preferably less than 70k miles. I would also be interested in a 5 speed gear set (case is not necessary, and actually prefer just the gears/shafts). Located in Delaware. Please PM me if you have something.

    I have a base rsx, and an ep3 complete trans that I may be able to part with also a spare z3 but it has a bad 3rd gear [MENTION=209]ksboi[/MENTION] 😥 lol

    I'd be interested in either the ep3 or base rsx gear sets. I don't need the case or anything. Lmk if you can do something would be helpful.

    What makes the ep3's so much tougher? Don't know much about them

    I think the gears themselves are a little thicker, but other than that, not much. I think it's just that people have success with them not breaking.
