The DW was failing. It wasn't giving the fuel it wanted at 8k. When I brought it to get a retune my whp dropped at 8k because the fuel pump wasn't giving the fuel it wanted. When we took the DW out we found pieces falling off of it. So, I made the switch and did a street tune. Runs great now. Gonna have it Dyno'd again when i get my next paycheck or 2.
Hmm that's odd it was falling apart. The dw pump is supposed to be superior to the walbro. Not that the walbro doesn't work, I have one too. Good you got it worked out though.
Really? I heard the opposite. Walbro was better. hmmm
Very nice job on poster car of the month! I am getting excited to know that I will be getting my car done by Saturday hopefully. My engine shares many of the same parts as you. Sucks about not having AC. Wish I had your kit but I guess I gained a few hp by dumping all of that. lol
Very sweet build.
Very curious to know if the sandblaster ponied up for the engine builds or...

Was being complimentary. The write up. Congrats! How's it running? I'm having a couple of gremlins. Very frustrating. Hopefully get it all worked out before I have engine problems as a result. Your car with that rotrex pretty badass. I was strolling down the street with wife and son. I'm having a few issues with throttle response. I was cruising in second and accelerated, car cut out then came back to life with a vengeance spinning the tires. Couple of girls on the street went crazy shouting and cheering. I guess spinning tires makes girls crazy?
Immediately car overheats. SMH.
