I just think it's injectors because this happened right after installing a fuel return. I didn't mess with anything else so idk why those other components would randomly fail.
Alright well swapped coil packs and nothing changed, and I had already swapped plugs and nothing changed. Then I swapped injector clips and the car started up, but idled even worse after a short period and wanted to stall so I shut it down, the datalog still said misfire in 3 and 4. I decided to reflash the ecu and start it up again to make sure it was getting fresh codes, but now it doesn't want to start, I think it's because the plugs are fouled. I have new plugs I can put in, but want to wait till my vac T arrives so I can have that installed and hopefully not foul these plugs also. What I'm thinking/hoping is the higher base pressure without the vac line connected (65psi) paired with a larger feed line is causing the injectors to see more fuel than necessary, and foul the plugs. With the vac line connected the pressure should drop to around 55 psi... With a lower pressure hopefully the plugs don't foul. I'm also hoping the tune needs to be adjusted as well... All these things are easy fixes, if it's something other than that I'm stumped
Misfire issue fixed! Just needed that vac hose and new plugs... Time to start/finish tuning!
