That's what I figured. But single or twin scroll won't change the gate purpose TMK. Either way, they're there to prevent creep. Twin scroll is, in short, a way to distribute engine exhaust pulses. In this case, a twin scroll won't help as much because he has one long extension from the collector of the manifold to the turbo, so the exhaust gases are 'gathered' by the time they enter the turbo.

Ya I know what twin scroll is and you're right about his situation unless he put a baffle in that pipe to keep ten separate then there will be no benefit with a twin scroll turbo. If it isn't twin scroll I'm not sure why they're using 2 gates and from the looks of it one would suffice since its coming straight off the pipe with direct flow to the wastegate, kinda like how Vit's is.

Yes the two gates are to prevent creep, comp turbo actually recommend that we use two mvs(38mm) gates over a single 44mm or 60mm that's why we did that, and the idea of the exhaust gasses gathering is what we are interested to test. The dumps will shoot straight down in front of the tranny and then I will have a second set if dumps and a second downpipe that will flip and come straight out the hood eventually. Either way creep should be completely eliminated on this setup

Manifold was definately designed and built with wastegate priority coming straight off the 90 so when opened the exhaust gasses will flow straight through the gates

Exactly, the twin-scroll division isn't there anymore but I realized it cant be a twin scroll setup because of the vband. AFAIK they don't make a twin-scroll vband setup period. And two gates is to prevent creep, its as simple as that. (I dont mean that in a rude way). And I personally think that one gate (60mm) would suffice on the outer bend of one of the 90* bends, giving the gate priority. But this way should work really well, I have confidence.

Should definitely have no creep with this. I'm wondering though, the heat from the dual dump tubes in front of the tranny would increase the heat in the tranny. Maybe not much, but this is just off the top of my head. And its dual 44s, so it's a good amount.

Ah, yes they do. Very good design, they look slightly shifted instead of directly in line so it should catch some extra gases not routed out the first gate. Boostjunky did this?

Yes it is boost Junkyz design and fab, and they are dual 38mm gates but 76mm or 3" should release plenty if exhaust lol. The gates and turbo are well above the tranny and the dumps may route down and out to the drivers side to keep the heat off the tranny still a work in progress . We shall see how she does.
