Nice build man. The EL front end almost looks like an rsx front end. I like it!

Nice welds on the cage. Who did all the fab work? Definitely can run 8s with a cage like that at our tracks haha

Not a whole lot of EM cars around that are going to look good like yours

Thanks! One of the few who have ever done this swap. Its pricey, all new OEM Acura parts because no company makes aftermarket panels for these cars..

Thanks! My buddy Ben Graham and I built the cage. We are both welders, lots of his work will be seen around our local car scene this summer!

And your right, tech around our parts are a joke, i had my battery ratchet strapped in the trunk for the PEI SCW last year and he let me race haha

Im trying to go with a combination of things with this car that have never been done on en em2 chassis.. I appreciate all the love guys!

Love the workmanship in the build, especially the welds on the cage.

I would however seriously consider continuing the main hoop diagonal down through the harness bar and to the passenger side floor mount - the main hoop really does need at least one complete diagonal, preference being two with gusseting and the harness bar passed behind. Otherwise the lateral strength will be quite low.

Rear cross would be optional, but would help stiffen up the rear end.

Apologies if this is 'egg sucking 101' or you're not done yet anyway but can never be too safe

too bad you guys aren't any closer, we have no good welders (who want to weld a cage) around here.

Are you going to build another manifold ?

Thanks for the input, but yes i am going to continue the diadonal down in the main hoop. We were crunched for time coming on the end of it. The style it will actually be is the same as in that picture.

Actually we do! I am a welder and my good buddy is a welder/fabricator aswell. We built this cage from scratch in less than 2 days. There was beer being drank plus we went on a roadtrip to get my seat etc etc all in the same weekend. We are more than happy to weld a cage into someones car. If you are interested in custom fabricated parts just message me on facebook Adam. i can send you some pictures of the custom work that he and i have done.

Or did you mean that we werent closer to you? I think i may have gotten that mixed up. And as for the manifold, I have a turbo manifold picked out that i want to buy but i am debating ordering thr flange and building it myself. Also going to make an intake manifold for my setup, fuel cell, all sorts of fabricating left to come!
