Nice update, don't worry. The R will be up and running soon enough! Keep us updated with the new stuff! What motor details are you doing?

Motor will just be a basic rebuild.

    Oem pistons and rods.
    OEM/Clevite bearings,
ARP custom age 625+ rod bolts,
    ARP head studs,
    Balanced crank.

The head will be stock unless I sell off a few unwanted things to fund some supertech valvetrain kit and a nice set of prayoonto or kelford cams.

Wow, thanks for sticking with us and updating. Looks great!! Hows the rest of the build going, motor rebuilt?

Still deciding with motor. The current oem pistons are ruined so I think I might just buy some forgies (pistons + rods)

Clueless on what to get though. What are your thoughts?

    JE 10:1 86.5mm
and for rods I'm not sure what's good on the market. Carillo, Cunningham, Manley? H beam for FI wise?

Looking to make around the 350-400hp comfortably. Any expert opinions out there?

I'm looking into building my motor right now as well. I will probably go with JE pistons, either 10:1 or custom ordered 10.5:1 if they will do that (I think they will). As for rods, any quality h-beam rod will hold that kind of power. Eagle, Manley, etc. I wouldn't spend the money on carillo or manley I beams for your goals. I'm probably going to go with the new skunk2 alpha series h beam rods.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated =]

I do reckon the manley I beams are expensive. That extra money over the other brand H beams rods can buy me bearings I guess.

    Still deciding lols

Ya I think you'll be fine with any good h beam rod for your goals. And for bearings I'd go with OEM as well, after a little reading, that seems to be the general consensus, and I like to stay OEM whenever possible, the quality is just better.
