from a scale of 1-10 id say 6, and thats just the sound of it when rolling
The sound itself is kinda like if a marble was in the vc and floating around the cams and stuff but only from 2-4k rpm

Today i received a care package from my one and only tuner, Brian from Speedlab. What a way to enlighten u in the time of need!! SO since today its been raining all day ill be replacing the TCT and hoping this was the issue after all. Cross ya fingers..

Did you go with an oem TCT?
Yes its out of an 08 tsx. I just need to prove the motor still functions properly and if all checks out hr will be ordered.
On another note the Ep3 is all buttoned down and ready to be back in action, well thats if the TCT was the issue.
Did a bunch of cleaning the bay re routing hoses here n there and fitted the new Vstack.
How rough was the TCT job? Did you replace the chain as well? I need to do this to my car soon. Probably going to when I have the subframe off to install my new manifold. Its so tight over there in my chassis, I'm not looking forward to it...

No chain is new.
i followed these instructions and it helped a lil..
I thought the chain cover had to be removed. I guess the tensioner doesn't sit behind it? Why did you not want to remove the timing cover? Just tough to get to all the bolts?
Thanks Ill reference this along with my service manual when I do the job. I will have the subframe off so maybe that will make it a tad easier.i followed these instructions and it helped a lil..
