Did you call the company and have a chat with them about it?

No I haven't. I'm logging my time I spend to fix it and taking pictures to email the company about it.

    ITS OFFICIAL!!!

The car will no longer run with the stock k24 that's in it now. The sleeved motor is only weeks away from completion so as soon as its done the swap will commence.

    ALSO

New fuel rail, hoses and fittings came in. So as soon as my manifold is finalized I can start putting it together.

    That's 1.65lbs. Lol

Cutting up my water pump to use my new one.

    To use the new one...

    Flow at 1822gal/hr (~30gal/min)

Yup. That's the new electric water pump I'm going to be running. It's got a controller that regulated the temperature of the coolant within 5 degrees. It's freakin boss. I would have gotten the ktuned water pump but my blower is where the alt goes in that kit. So this is the alternative and is more reliable and controlled then theirs.

Thanks on the rail. I love it man. I got all giggity when it came in!

So why did you need a new water pump and why did you have to cut up your original? Not trying to bash, genuinely curious. Also what re the specs on the motor? Bore? C/r?

Yea man. It's a pretty neat design. Mounts in between the lower rad hose as low as you can get it. And comes with its own temperature sensor and fan relay switch wire ect. Pumps coolant from the rad through the motor and back around again. As engine temps rise it flows more fluid to keep it within that 5 degree range.

I wasn't getting enough cooling from the rad and fan I have and thats a part of the reason my least motor didnt last. so in addition to those I am adding this pump in an effort to overkill the system and allow better control of coolant temps. ALSO this pump continues to run while the cars off to ensure the motors cooled down. Essentially like a turbo time for coolant. And you cut up the original to cut down on the parasitic drag from it trying to act as a pump. Now pretty much it's another idler pulley for me. I would try and make a block off plate for the side of the water housing but I need that pulley for additional belt wrap on my blower pulley.
