You can get 600 hp on a 6266. A 6765 is a huge Motherfucker. And I'm not sure for a street/strip car you'd like the power range of a 67mm turbo.
who here is using a big turbo.. preferably 35r or bigger and what kind of results are you getting?
my typical saterday night garage time with friends stirred the shit talking pot more than usual and my turbo selection has come into deep deep debate.. apparently me using a hx55 has not been looked upon highly by my friends lol...
i have been suggested to change to a 6765...or a 4088. both of which should net me my 600 ish hp wheel goal.. and allow for great room to grow.. but as this car will be a fun street car i figured the hx55 smaller hotside would fill the gap a littly better being a twin scroll...... correct me if i am wrong but this is how i have thought it out and planned my build to do...
i am not worried about the et... just mph..preferably higher than 140..with a goal of 150.. lol set my sites high... and wicked fast on the high way.
thought? reccomendations? this is going into a basically fully built k20z1 on stock cams....and stock sleeves... e85.. and the big enough injectors to run the number and more.

The GTX3582 can probably get you where you want but barely, which could be a good thing if you want nothing more because it would still give you very good response for how large a turbo it is. The newer EFR turbos are awesome as well. The 7670 or 8374 would both work for that power level.
Well I ran a 35r T4 TS last year on 26 lbs didn't wanna push the stock bottom end any further than that at 585 hp 414 trq on a dyno jet / roller dyno .My highest trap speed in the 1/4 was 135.9 mph
Awesome....
I am just more worried about room to grow my biggest hold back will be my stock sleeves but give it a year and I'll upgrade and go back through the motor.I am thinking about going with a 4088.... but I am gonna try the hx55 and see if its to laggy ill sell it I guess.....
What's that 35r good for at its peak our put?
I'd go with a 6266bb, that will get you to your power goal and it's a great turbo. Billet wheel, fast spool for it's size, great company. I'm running a GT30R, GT35 will get you JUST at your power goal, but IMO it's not the power-goal as much as it is the power-band. I agree with adm_rsx

my buddy is running one.. it is a nasty turbo..... ill see what kind of deals i can find on it.
anyone try an s366?
I am using a AGP Zeta 3 or 3.2 its like a dang 30r/35r with .82A/R. What are you plan on using the car for? With e85 and 35r you could hit that HP goal but depending on your tranny gearing is what you will hit in the 1/4 mile.
The zeta 3.2 has seen 9.80's in a 5speed srt-4. And I believe they are larger then the 35r.
