The lug nuts i got NG-r's don't quite work for me, i need spline or narrower lugs to fit. So these also won't be going on for a bit longer.

Sadbanana. Sorry to hear about the gear situation, at least you'll be upgrading with the ep3 trans. And the wheels and tires look dope! Lots of meat, love tuose direzzas. I just don't want to take my perfectly fine N3000's off and buy those. Hmm, we'll see. If you can, please document/record your tranny swap for the rest of us/future users. When will you be doing the swap?

He has 245/40/17 star spec z1's on 8.25'' wide rims. I fit 235/40/17 star spec z1's on my stock rim (7'' wide) just fine.
Well, the trans is already out of my car and broken down actually. Thats how i know the issue is the collar. I am shooting to have the car done by the end of this week. I will try to get as many pictures as I can but its already a long and drawn out process. (although it give me the chance to show off my 4 megapixel camera with ultra pixle technology) I will see what i can do though. Currently i am waiting on a bearing for the countershaft.

Pressed 6th gear off the stock trans
Better view...kinda
4th gear on the ep3 trans had a small nick so i replaced that gear
Done and done...gear set fully assembled
Did you replace 4th on the main shaft as well? I believe they have to be a matching set. I'm guessing you used your 06 si 4th as the replacement for the ep3's 4th.Got a little done today:

You are correct that you must use the same ratio gear on both the main/ countershaft. I am using the ep3 4th on both. When this gear set was shipped to me the counter shaft 4th had the nic in the picture. The seller was nice enough to send me a replacement gear. Thats what i put on to replace the damaged one.
