AxelTaylor's 2.4L Turbo Build - Keepin it simple! For now

Would like to introduce my car to everyone as well as some progress of my build.

2002 Acura RSX Type S - Arctic Blue Pearl

    Small timeline -
Nov 08 - Purchased stock RSX with body kit, terrible paint job, and OZ Superleggeras.

A year and a half later I hydrolocked the motor after doing some minor bolt on stuff here and there. So I purchased a K24A2 and swapped it in.

May 22nd, 2011 my hometown Joplin,MO was destroyed by an F5 tornado and unfortunately my car was in its path and sustained some body damage, broken windows, etc.

This last summer I decided I wanted more power instead of worrying about repainting the car for the 4th time so it was time to go with boost.

    Current Mod List -
    K24A2 - 05'
    Hondata Kpro
    Greddy Turbo Kit
    Hondata Boost Solenoid
    Hondata 4 bar Map
    RBC IM
3" Test pipe to full 3" custom stainless steel exhaust
    Vibrant Muffler
    RC 750cc Injectors
    Blueprint Headstuds
    Modified intercooler Piping
    etc.

    Running 14lbs on a Magnesium E-tune. Haven't seen a dyno yet.

Also have quite a few interior and exterior modifications...

On to a couple pics. Will have a proper photoshoot one of these days.

    Prior to turbo

Currently car is up on jackstands I am trouble shooting an oil leak issue that I think is coming from the seal on the timing chain cover around the crank pulley. Also waiting on my new wheels to come in

Starting a new job in about a month that doubles what I make now so I've got huge plans for her over the next couple years.

And heres a pic of my daily - 2004 Chevy 3500HD Duramax - Stock besides a sound system, leveled, and 33x11.5 Nitto dune grapplers

Nice build, that's a hell of a truck! At least if your RSX-S goes down, you can just toss it in the back of the DD

Welcome to the forum, what are your future plans?

Lol yep it's a long bed too the RSX fits perfect! I'll be moving and buying a house in the next month so the RSX plans are jut to get it reliable to drive almost daily. Diesel gets expensive! Then maybe next summe I'll go with a full race kit and build a motor and tranny and ppgs.

This is the only pics I have that somewhat shows the routing of the piping. And this what when my RBC was white and before I shaved it. Also shows the tornado damaged fender
