Damn! Putting in some serious work man, can't wait to see the finished product! I don't know if I would have the patience to do all that grinding. Props to you! Repped your post

My Ruckus Build
nothing crazy but spent a couple of hours grinding again tonight... oh the joys.....
I know I have lots to go and some or sloppy as i got bored... but friday I will continue...
I also removed more seam sealer
I'm a big fan of stitch welding strut tower walls. Then smoothing them down. Have had a few locals do that as well as Chris at CRSX is doing it on the shop builds. But to make it completely seamless you HAVE to do some type of welding so you don't sacrifice structural integrity. And if you get too overkill with welding it's easy to warp some metal and never have a perfectly straight front end.
yeah my buddy Phillip and I have been trying to figure out how to smooth all the seams...all my research and digging keeps coming up with stitch welding and fill in the spaces with filler and shave that down...
^ Based on people I've spoken to, seems that's the best way. It's a tough area to get down right.
Great job so far, stay on that productivity grind
So my buddy Phillip came down and we went to town on the bay last night. As I said we focused on filling the bigger holes.
cleaning metal to weld up
Testing fit
Tac in place
Weld
and walla
same thing with the old brake line holes
but placed the metal in the back side
The ultimate hole filled.....
traced out our pattern
cut it out
start welding it in
then started sanding it down
Then Phillip started some filler
also started welding and smoothing the motor mount
Not going to work on it tonight... but I'll keep cleaning up tomorrow
