To all my built members in here, what assembly lube did yall use per preference when assebling bottom end and cylinder head??

I used lucas assembly lube http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lu...Fcud4AodTwYAZQ and also have a bottle the permatek stuff that I didn't need/use . I would recommend getting arp assembly lube for the head bolts/ studs as well as the main bearing bolts .http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ar...9910/overview/

I used the permatex stuff without an issue. My arp studs came with the recommended lube but it is certainly a necessity. Torquing the bolts dry is actually a different spec then using the lube from what I've read

The assembly lube from arp is just for the head studs and bolts. You want to use regular engine assembly lube for the bearings on the crank, rods, and cams

What is the point of multiple cycles? Is that just if you tear it down and have to put it back together?

Sorry out in the garage working on the quad but but also use it on the rod bolts and large main bearing "bolts" that go thru the lower girdle

Yea its showing you how consistent it is when you use the proper lube.
