    StopTech Big Brake for RSX

So I've recently upgraded my brakes to the StopTech Big Brakes and so far I love them. I really wanted Red calipers but the black has grown on me. Clean as can be.

(Sorry rotors look rusty in photos)

Basically I went from a ricer red painted stock caliper and rotor and pad

to a StopTech slotted rotor, 4 piston caliper, and pads

and for the rears I ordered stoptech slotted rotors and performance pads also

    so from ricer red

    to clean slotted and black

My car has no ABS and I can feel a huge difference with the new brake setup. They are a little front heavy but I stop. This winter I will be doing a brake booster delete but I will be installing a proportioning valve so I can adjust make braking front to rear.

That's pretty awesome, don't forget that your SS lines play a role in terms of pedal feel. I've always wanted a BBK and Stoptech was the only one in my price range, but my Hawk HPS are working so far. Slotted rotors are a must tho, I wish I had em.

ahh yes I have also swapped out all the rubber hoses front and rear for stainless lines.

They don't expand like rubber hoses do which will give a soft sqooshy feel. SS lines are nice and firm and hold better pressure.

Exactly, I'm running them all around. StopTech lines though I love your brakes, wish I had the money for a BBK.

I'm actually looking at the willwood kit that still fits 15's so I can run my slicks.

yeah I looked into those too. But a local guy was parting out his car. I got front calipers, rotors, pads, rear rotors and pads for a bundle deal of $1100

That's a damn good deal. Those kits sell for 2100 or something brand new. Either way WAY too much money for something I couldn't run my slicks on. Lol. Nice find on them.

It will be a pain in the ass but I kept my stock brakes so if I get slicks I can rock them on track days.
