yeah my last car was a supercharger gsr and the instant shock is tough on things especially on radials and w/o pre loading things break .I broke three axles in the old hatch and one final drive in it .So far the k series trans has handled everything I have thrown at it and that is even hard for me to believe as I know what its been thru
Stage 4 competition clutch and fly wheel
I have been slowly working my way up in power. I started out with a small boost setup at 278HP drove and tracked that for 10k miles.
Upgraded my fuel system and made 384HP. Drove and tracked that for another 9k miles.
I built the motor in Jan 2012 and finished April 2012
Made 421HP on 13psi
Did more tuning hit the dyno again and made 443HP
Ran this power level for 2 weeks about 1200 miles (Drove to tracks on the weekends)
Did more tuning and made 455HP/389ftlbs drove at this power level for 100 miles and broke 4th gear. Sounds like aluminum cans and rocks when I put it in 4th gear lol

I think my transmission problem was exacerbated by the fact my clutch was slipping. You would think the clutch slipping would help protect the transmission but I am thinking because it only slipped a little then it would catch instantly that put a shock load on the transmission. Like a 6krpm launch

these transmissions take a beating last year stock trans w/ quaife 585 / 414 it did great til December with multiple x mutiple x a shit ton of pulls
