    Help with knock

After my engine build (9:1Rc) i have 5-6 knock at 4300-4500 rpm at 14.7 psi of boost.
Before the engine build with stock engine (11:0 Rc) at the same pressure of boost and same ignition-afr kal i don't have any knock

Yesterday night i have try to retard the ignition in the Knock zone at about -3° and it's knock the same.
i have try with premium fuel (100 Ron) and it's knock same..

After this i have try to reduce the boost pressure with the boost control at 12.9 psi-11.4 psi and at 7.1 psi (wastegate spring) and the knock are the same.
Now i think it's a engine noise but why this noise??
At the idle and in normale driving the engine don't have any noise...

    The build is:
    - Wiseco 86.5 pistons rc 9:1
    - Pauter Rods
    - Honda Oem main bearing
    - Honda Oem rods bearing
    - new chamshaft chain
    - new oil pump Honda Oem
    - GT3582r Twinscroll setup with 2 38mm TiAl wastegate

For the specs of the engine , when i bore the engine i have set the clearance from pistons to sleeve at 0.0031 "..

I have check for the Pauter Rods to sleeve clearance and it's ok, about 0.19 "

Anyone have this noise engine with pauter rods and wiseco pistons?
I attach the datalog with the Knock..

Are you sure it's actual detonation that's occurring or wether it's just engine noise. My knock sensor goes off randomly and I'm positive it's not detonation. Either that or here's another....what's your fuel pressure? Any upgrades to the fuel system?

Where does your vtec engage? Around 4000rpm? Could be the pop of vtec causing your noise.

Asked a friend, here's his response:

I've tuned several built motors and as soon as you start modifying the internals, you change the engine harmonics and the knock sensor flips a *****.

Ok, i have read a lot on the forum about the Honda Knock sensor..
I want to try a test with a C16 race fuel with the same Kal..if the knock are the same are ghost knock or engine noise!
With C16 race fuel it's impossible have a knock a 14.7 psi of boost and 14° of IGN!

    Yeah i'm sure about that.
I have try with C16 race fuel and the noise/knock on the datalog are exact the same!
Now i made test for re-calibrate the knock sensor by the new feature Knock in the Kmanager 1.5.1

If the same 5 knock count is there with race fuel then you have no worry of it to be detonation. plain and simple. Is that where your vtec crossover is? You have a built turbo motor. I have no doubt in my mind that its just too loud for the knock sensor to be properly effective.
