Two years ago, a man who inspired both the young and old to pursue their interest in all things automotive and beyond passed away. Although a celebrity, it is not the role he held most notably the Fast and Furious franchise, but the reason behind his role. He was Brian O'Connor, or Brian Earl Spilner, a police officer on an undercover mission. But that was his job, the automotive lifestyle was his passion. We saw this amplify and grow throughout the series, which was noted by Dominic Toretto in the phrase 'Buster became a gear head' after Brian complimented him on going with the times and switching to fuel injection on his classic blown Dodge Charger.

Paul is remembered because off the screen (and even on), he is much like any of us - a true car enthusiast who gratefully shared his opportunity with us on the big screen. Paul will always embody that guy at a local car meet with the nicest, fastest highly modified car, yet is so sincere and humble that he will talk to anyone, even the guys with the beat up rides that just have a true love for cars. The guy who focuses on similarities, not differences. The guy who gives back to those in need. #ROWW

It is said that Paul's memory is more than just the man himself; it is what he stood for and how he inspired us all with his wholehearted devotion that makes him a very hard person to forget. One may find it easy to agree, I sure can. So on this day, we ask that you safely pay tribute to Paul in each of your own ways. Have a drink if you'd like! You can have any brew you want, as long as it's a Corona.
