blew 2nd gear and the LSD...

picked up a somewhat good 09 si tranny and started swapping the bad parts out for new. also replaced the shaft bearings with new upgraded 09+ bearings.

curbed one of my wheels so good opportunity to paint them..

cut/shaved my rbc manifold and relocated the lines underneath. thanks spaz for the diy!
    tractuff adapter

pita ass to wrap these with the motor still in the car

Love it! Every single step. You put real love into this, as many of us do. But you went from one form of FI to another - something not very common in the industry. Which parts of each do you like more between roots blower and turbo?

appreciate it! main reason going from sc to turbo was more power, and turbo was the easiest way. there is definitely a difference in power delivery, loved the roots blower for instant power (no lag) at any rpm's and torque down low. and can't deny the whine, no one expects it lol. it was also x999 easier to install a sc than a turbo set up especially on the fg/fa chassis haha.
but for anything over 400 on a sc, it starts getting costly and you're still limited. with turbo, cant beat 420-430 on stock block daily driver on pump gas....and open wastegate dump
