This was as close as I could get, I can spot a Tial waste-gate tucked round the back, obviously some kind of sidewinder manifold.
Any comments on this?

Looks crazy, and very similar to a k20.... Those fender wells are HUGE though!
It is a K20 engine!
The suspension setup is pretty crazy, notice the push-rod setup, the dampers are mounted on the tubular frame and lay horizontal towards the front of the car.
I was more interested in the engine, can anyone identify the inlet manifold?
From the pics it's really tough to tell, but doesn't look all that different than an RBC or RRC manifold.

shows the positioning of the turbo pretty well
