He got the lips/barrels powdercoated and the faces are gold plated, the hardware is supposedly all real titanium hardware and then the wheels themselves. I don't know how much gold plating costs but that doesn't add up to 8k with my math.

Yea because even looking at worst worst worst case scenario your looking at a 1k in tires, 2k in wheels, 1k on titianuim bolts, 1k on powdercoating, and 2k on gold plating........ thats only 7k (still missing 1k) and that's still way off cause that's saying you spent 2k in powercoating at bolts

I could probably see spending 4k on that setup and thats going to the rape you shops to get the work done.

Thats probably including shop labor though....... You take your car to a shop to get every damn nut and bolt tightened i could see those numbers being real......... If he did all the labor himself and spent 80k in parts thats complete BS
