I feel like perfect 100% stock setup would be 02-04 type-s, a2 motor, z1 cams, z1 trans, 05-06 front end conversion, 02-04 rear end, 05-06 base seats, 05-06 type-s cluster, and 05-06 type-s wheels

wow.... i really couldn't agree more with that lol not sure about the trans since ive never drove a z1 trans before but everything else... hell yea lol

Well i mean stock vs stock the trans have the same gears, it's just a has a 4.3fd vs z1 has the 4.7fd, all motor wise the z1 trans is alot better and faster but if I was boosted I'd probably stick with the an trans cause the gears are slightly longer

Shift points on z1 are like 40,60,80,105 vs a2 it's like 40,68,92,124....
