So oil question ? From NA to supercharger

So what I am wondering is that I am running royals purple 5w30 synthetic oil in my k24/k20 NA motor with the royals purple synchromesh . So if I am installing a supercharger on thaw motor do I run a thicker oil or just keep using the 5w30 like usual ?

Is it better to us a thicker oil or just keep using what I us now.

I am a newbie towards force induction and learning on the way.

    Thanks.

I would keep the same oil. No need to change. I was still running 5w30 supercharged and I'm still running 5w30 turbocharged.
Available now are SPAZ APPROVED decals!!! Available in multiple colors!

I would suggest using a high quality oil. Like amsoil or brad penn, something that is a true synthetic with additives for protection, but stock weight is fine.
