    Locked in gear?

I was actually driving normal today compared to most and going from 4th to 5th there was an abnormally long grind followed by the shifter being stuck where it would be for 5th and 6th. I managed to push the shifter back to neutral but the trans apparently is stuck in gear I can put it in other gears and hear them lock in but if you try to drive it doesn't move then try's to lock the shifter in that gear. I've done 2 rebuilds on this trans so I know the different feelings between gears, synchros, and one time my 3rd/4th shift fork going but this one is different it didn't gradually break it was quite sudden. There's a video on my Instagram @zackgoeswhaaa but idk I'm kinda lost on this one

Since it's very easy to pull the shift selector I'd pull that first and make sure everything there is in good shape. If it is then you'd have to pull the trans

Well I can't watch any video cause I don't have intsagram but have first thing to check is gonna be the shift cables to be sure they are moving properly. Then obviously the fluid level and condition and the selector otherwise sounds like you might be dropping that trans if those things check out .

Ehh it happens if I didn't have another guy pulling his motor out of his car I would have it on the ground by now. This is why I keep spare parts I use to work at a honda dealership and kept the internals out of an 08 si trans that had a cracked case

Ok so I found the problem my slave cylinder bolts sheered the heads clean off of them I'll post pics when I get home but obviously it did something to the inside of the trans too so I'll separate the case anyway
