When I did mine I had to buy one bolt as I was able to use the 2 long transmission bolts, but didn't feel as though enough thread from the regular transmission bolts was going into the block because my bracket for my engine stand has pretty long slots if that makes sense. For the long bolts I just had to use a stack of washers as they otherwise would be too long.
