Great post! Very informative
Hmm....Thats the thing though. I'm not sure where I fall @13psi. For stock internals, I know its on the high side but ignoring that fact, 13psi isn't really much. I guess I'll just gap my next set to...
Interesting. I've been running the NGK BKR9EIX's for a couple years & never gapped them. I assumed that for boost levels between 12-15 psi, the factory gap was good. Should I regap my next set of...
:flamewar:
Interesting. I've been running a journal @13 psi for 4 years on my DD & haven't had any issues. I've heard that many internal parts of Precision turbos are interchangeable with Garett parts. I'm...
This. Especially (if possible) rebuild kits for Precision, Garett, Holset, etc. turbos
Beanies would go really well with the hoodies
Damn it! I want my hoodie :angryfire:
have you received an email saying that it has shipped?
:sigh: still no shipping email for me
I want mine! I haven't even received my item shipped email
Whats the ETA for those who didn't do priority shipping?
Out of curiosity, which plate are you using?
x3!!! I REALLY need these, but the american education system is a proficient succubus
So I was browsing around another site looking for parts for my Supra, & came across this little gem. Its not exactly a new product, but I was thinking that something like this could be quite...
I don't. Ive never heard of port differences until I joined thid site
10 pound. I've only creeped a handful of times with it. My confliction is that I'm running a journal bearing turbo, so I need the wastegate to open as late as possible to allow for the quickest spool
If I change out my spring, I assume I'll need a new tune, correct? Due to the variation of boost pressures at different rpm
Haha. I'd have changeable temp settings, but the little mount that holds the wire in place, broke. So I need to ziptie that thing to keep it from moving
Lol @ your "heater". I'm in the same boat. The colder it is, the more I boost. Lol
Loved reading this. I never even thought about the angle of my WG. Great info! I'm still pretty noob to turbo technicalities, so this will surely be a facepalm question, but....what do the spring...
Mine is falling off. I'll likely do my rewrap while my turbo is being rebuilt. Thankfully I have an unused box of zipties. Is there any difference between the gold reflection tape & silver tape?
Good to hear. I'm only peaking at 280 ft/lbs, so I should be good. I'm just tired of the 6 puck, as my car is a DD that occasionally hits traffic & goes through parking structures
After you do what ksboi suggested, WRAP YO SHIT! I didn't wrap my downpipe either, but all my wiring is protected. And I've had no electrical issues after boosting for 4 years.
I imagine there's no chatter, since its a solid disc...?
