Well it is a more efficient roots style blower. They call it a hybrid between the TS and a true roots style blower. The biggest advantage with running the TVS over a Whipple is the internal by-pass....
not really.
Actually the TVS 900 is closer to the M62.
Get you one! I'm going to add a few psi in the spring and get closer to 600 hp.:yay:
Yeah, a few have said that. lol SC'd ftw!

Porting the housing has benefits. Porting the inlet of the blower really does not. The picture you posted is the outlet. If you send your blower to a shop to port it, when they rebuild it just tell...
The trim was so little its not even worth even talking about.

Not worth porting the stock inlet. Purchase one. Gives you better and more airflow. Porting the blower actual increases the cfm's that the blower can move and at about 8% cooler from what I have...
Do you plan on porting your blower or is it already ported? Have you thought about a snout cooler as well?
what set up are you going to run?
Depends on where you live and if you care to change it if you live where it gets cold. Water with Water Wetter can be run. If using coolant, 70% water/30% coolant is the most efficient mixture and...
So excited for this weekend!
Looks slow! :giggle:
is it possible to route it like normal but with by-passing the AC? Or with it hit the water pump pulley? The little bit of wrap on the water pump concerns me.
Take the 62" back and tell them you need a 56" if that is what you measured it at. They can use the belt number to find the belt in the size you need. I take it that this is a RSX or a swap car?
Check what your blower rpm's are. I ran 10 psi for a year or so before adding cooling. My set up it was 5.46(CP)/3(BP0x8600(RPM)=15,652 rpm's. On hot days you want to be smart and not do multiple...
Yeah I bet those tires are just about as good as a DR. I used to launch at 4500 with DR's at MIR. It is a pretty well prepped track. Slicks and then you can really launch it!!! 6000 to 6500 rpm...
What street tires were you running? What PSI did you run in the DR's? What RPM did you launch at on both set ups?
That is not a bad time at all on DR's
