I hope the one for his boost solenoid has a check valve in it. The wastegate is not supposed to see vac, it can damaged the diaphragm over time.

I don't have a boost solenoid hooked up yet and I know its not supposed to hook up to that, I'm just running a manual boost controller for now. I was just using it as a reference.
All good, just wanted to make sure your diaphragm doesn't tear.

^correct. All my taps were 1/4" NPT. Then just used a 1/4 to 3/8 fitting
Ok noob question...I was looking up what size drill bit to use for the 1/4" NPT tap, is 7/16" the correct drill bit to use?
