New @Mention Feature!

The days of private messaging/visitor messaging someone to invite them to a thread are over. We've all been there - there's a discussion in a thread and, someone, who would be perfect to put their .02 in or who should read about this, needs to be brought to that thread. You go throughout the forum to find them and finally post a message on their 'Visitor Wall' or send them a private message. Not anymore! All you need to do is write @ and the user's username. Spaces are fine, it just needs to be the correct username. That's it!

To see the top tags, quotes, etc, go to the 'Community' or 'Quick Links' under the navigation bar and click 'User Tagging Statistics'. See below:

Once they are tagged, they will receive an e-mail notifying them that they were mentioned in a post, and a link to that specific post in the thread. Because of this, user's must make sure that their e-mail addresses are up to date! This can be fixed in your 'User CP' under 'My Account' section. Click 'Edit E-mail and Password'.
