I have 17x8's but I want to send them out and have em widened to 9". I'm all for function so form doesn't really matter to me just as long as my tires and rims don't stick out beyond my fenders.

I want to be running 17x9 real soon, +42 offset and I'll probably need 5mm spacers  The wheels I wanted are now sold, so idk what to do. I've wanted them for FOUR years. [/rant]
:turbohug:
i have 17x9 +35 rpf1s with 245 tires on my rsx

Damn guess not lol. I really want to get some black ones for my car. Maybe one day.

Adam, post pics!
Yes post pics! What made you decide +35 and not +22?
+22 is a hard offset and requires a decent amount of camber. I imagine that's why. But ADAM POSTTT
I never updated this thread!! Wow. Well, better late than never.

Fully functional 245 correct. I have a thread I pulled my front fenders over an inch and have almost 0 camber in front. Rears are rolled and semi pulled with -2.5 camber. 235 tires
No hellafucked for this guy

Good thread....
Anybody know what will fit on '05 EM2 without body work?
I'm looking at 235/40 r17 on my 17x7.5 et+45, but not sure of the ability to turn?
Eventually, looking at the 17x9(245/40 r17) the DC5 guys are running with some body work and the correct offset.
Yeah the 235's fit under the car.... and look pretty stock with the 17 x 7.5.
Given 235mm is 9.25", I'm sure it would rub inner with 9 or 9.5" rims... and will need lower offset.
The DC5 guys talk about 255's on 17x9 w/+20's offset with no mention of modifying the body... So, given the chassis and many parts are the same, I'm betting it'll work to follow what the RSX have proven... But, also that tire is wider than the wheel, I'd try the 235's on a 17x9, first for clearance testing, but would be thinking about a 10" rim for the 255 or 12" for the 275 when I get my boost going.
