Why so that's what I'm running and they great.

Basically every boosted person I know on 8th is running heat range 9 and that's what was recommended by my tuner.

Ya she had an 8 in her original part number. That's why I underlined the 9. I changed that in her quote.

I though you have a built erl block? And you was using a twin disk?

I did, I had a fully built and sleeved k24/k20 but since then I bought a eg hatch so my race motor is going in that with a Borg warmer 72mm turbo set up and I'm going to use that as my race car. The 8th gen is now my daily, and still has a good amount of power :)
