We now have MTEC shifter springs for K-series manual transmissions.
These will fit K20 or K24 manual trans. They help eliminate lateral play that exist in the shifter. Basically it helps with your side to side movement on your shifter. Giving you a more accurate gear engagement!

tell you one thing, they stiffen up the shifter. It feels a lot more crisp, and you can feel the shifts. Now, i also installed ktuneds 5th gear lock out at the same time, so the side to side play is pretty much gone.

Great piece for the price. :)

Thanks Adam, yes they go under the Shifter selector on the trans. They stiffen up the Shifter play and has less side to side movement. Easy install and a lot of bang for your buck

I will say these with a Ktuned billet RSX shifter is a bit too stiff. I already had MTEC springs in my trans and put a stock spring on my billet shifter.

I actually prefer the stiffness of the Combo but it is all in personal preference

another thing i have to clean then put hondabond on cuz im ocd so it has to be spotless lol. might just leave them in for when i sell the trans, but i might also just swap them like you said its a 10 min job lol

You have to open the case anyways to pull and replace diffs. And that requires you remove the shift selector anways. Lol
