I believe a 5858 is very similar.

It looks like that GT30 in particular has a smaller than usual turbine housing. But if memory serves me right those turbos are about the same size. You could always look up the wheel specs yourself to find out. From what I remember Garrett sizes theirs a bit differently, so you won't find a precision that is an exact equivalent of the GT30.
Sounds about right, the gtx has a .63 housing and the pt has a .82

It's tough to tell, but looks like the GTX also has a weird turbine housing, like a tial or something, and that precision looks like it may be a T4 flange? Tough to say from pic.
That's correct. It's the stainless tial .63 vband housing
Looked up the specs and the in/ex ducers are very similar
The hot side v-band housing makes a noticeable difference as well, as you posted above. Don't let that change your perspective, though. Those GTX setups are no joke. We run a GT30R in our Si and it's a great DD turbo. The GTX is even better!Quote:
