If you bought that pipe to go "moar low" you'd only want to go lower. :banghead:
 doesn't bother me any that my car is lifted, cause lifted is the new slammed. :what:
@Adm rsx I haven't had the least motivation to mount my gopro lately. Dunno why. Here is a link to some guy with the same wheels and set up as I have in my car, same dents and rust too (ironically) It's not me, I swear and it's not a black RSX with SBC wheels either. It just looks that way.

Haha she sounds healthy man. :thumb: I broke my gopro mount before I went to the track a couple weeks ago. Smh

Not the best video representation but it may be awhile before I dare race anyone on the street again. That street racing ticket kicked me straight in the balls. State boys don't mess around and it's too bad I wasn't in Chicago but those are the breaks. lol
Thanks, I like the sound but it is loud and I think that alone draws way too much attention. I was just playing around both times. The one time we squared up and went at it proper the videographer was too far behind. I really spanked it hard and left that tuned Hyundai in the dirt.
Tomorrow I'll be going to the track to see what numbers I can put down. Going to ease in to it before launching hard.
Yea when you get to the track and get to the burnout box don't do a burn out. I through the water past it and spin the tires a little just enough to get the water off. Burnout on street toes don't really do much for you. Best of luck and can't wait to hear what you run

Thanks for the heads up. No burnouts then.:-D
These tires grip really pretty well, so we will see. Once again, not looking to destroy the trans on it's first trip to the zoo. Gonna go domesticated then the animal will come out.
Wasn't able to run. They spied my broken stud bolt. I'm going to have to fix that asap. :D
I saw some pretty sick speed. 7 second quarters that just blew me away and a viper that did a 15 second quarter that just made me LMAO.
Damn. Which stud? I didnt see u were going to the track. My best advice on a stock tranny and axles is to not preload your tranny before you launch. You can do a small burnout, just enough to clean the tires and warm em up a bit (more or less, depending on your compound). I have a set of, uhhh, i forget. But anyways, the set of tires on my stockies (winter wheels) actually grip very well with a nice street burnout. Typically though, street tires don't like much burnout.
When are you going back?
Its front left. I had gotten a set of mugen seven sided ones. They looked anemic so I bought a set of rays. I guess I put them on too tight. They didn't want to come off so I twisted it off when I should have gotten an impact. I was traumatized when the one side came loose the very first day so I wanted to make sure they wouldn't come loose again.
I went to Route 66. Going back in two weeks. I need to take off the hub to do it properly, correct?
Good idea. They have 125k. Couldn't hurt. I want to redo entire suspension
Well, just got a slap on wrist today. 90 days supervision, then ticket dropped from record. Whewww. Got off LIGHT.
Going back to track on the 27th. I'm bringing cam and hopedully breaking the 13 second mark.
Didn't make it to track yesterday. I'm having issues with my radiator relocate leaking. HR will warranty it, I guess.
That's not what it's called. The filler relocate to head. Sorry, still new to mods
Well, it had been spitting coolant every now and then. I figured it was normal but when the weather cooled down it did worse. So I had looked a little closer and found a hissing sound coming from the neck and not the cap. I think when head gasket blew that it weakened the gasket.
Gasket between the two piece filler.
Ahhhh gotcha
It's been a long while since I've updated. So far car has been holding up nicely. I have pieces to add and get painted. Mugen bumper cover, side valances, carbo new fenders, doors, carbon mugen diffuser and max racing carbon hood. Hopefully get painted very soon.

Trying to test fit this bumper I ran in to a little problem, it bumps in to intercooler. I don't know if cutting it to make it fit is a good idea. Ideas?

Can the intercooler position be modified at all to fix the problem?
It's in at an angle because that is the only way it could be fit. The bumper needed the inside grate removed. The mugen is too thick in that part but if I cut it will mean taking part of that pillar on left side out. May weaken an already thin piece. I guess I will look again but what do you all think? Cut out and deal with it or just run stock bumper?

I had to cut my bumper to fit my intercooler piping, and I am not happy with how it turned out because I had to cut a piece completely out of the grill. If you think it can be done without being able to see the cuts on the outside I'd go for it, otherwise I'd just stick with the stock bumper.
Depends on how much needs to be removed. Do you have the stock bumper beam/support?
I do not. Had to come off to fit intercooler. Just spoke with a friend that has same bumper and he had to cut to make fit and his is stock. I have dremel and will travel. Lol

Even my stock bumper had to be modified to make work.
