I'm 260 miles into my break in period of the recommended 300mile break in on ye competition clutch. It is still a beast hasn't slipped not once. I haven't been over 4500rpm yet but if you will recall the spec clutch slipped at 4krpm. Not this one :D

I'm going to do a 400mile break in instead of the 300 just because I can lol

:rotfl: Definitely post a business review, the more the merrier. As for the break-in, I suggest doing the extra 100 miles if you can, because why not?

Glad to hear that Spec did the right thing, but didn't really give u a legit reason. They seem pissed about the situation. And your CC stage 4 clutch will hold for a while so don't worry ;)

Its tough to tell, but to me that looks like it might just be wheel spin? Although it is definitely easier to tell in person.

I am actually starting to think the same thing because I broke traction in 5th I heard my tires squeal then it rev'd out just like 3rd and 4th.

How can I verify?

Do a 4th gear pull starting at 5500/6k and video tape it. We'll see if it spins that way. Typically once it starts spinning it'll shoot all the way till redline, but what may be happening is that you're heating up the tires while you spin. That will make the tire stick better, and may start to hook at the higher rpm. Does seem like it's spinning + clutch slippage though. You know what, I have an idea. But, before I say it, what tires are you running up front? Size, type, brand

Actually, nevermind. It's definitely the flywheel being poorly resurfaced. When I break loose in any gear, it shoots up to redline awfully fast. Has to be clutch slippage. Str8JDM is running the CC stage 5 (super single) and he's fully built motor and tranny putting out over 700whp on race gas. And it holds.
