Yes, it bolts to the intercooler. I rode it really hard today, like redheaded stepchild. Put at least 50 miles or more on it. Not once did it get close to half. Running strong like bull. I think I may have it going ok. Once I get those wheels on car we shall see just how quick it is. Third gear wheelspin is insane. Car feels much faster than my bike. Gotta be an 11 second car.
See post 68. Good pic of radiator there.
Well that looks like the same radiator I had and my car constantly overheated with it once it got above 70 degrees outside and even ran hot on cooler days if I beat on the car .I have since gotten rid of that rad and the bought a griffin full size I must say it solved my cooling issues instantly .It did not matter what I did with the tucked radiator it did NOT work properly for a boosted K series this I am certain of and would bet your gonna find the same results when all is said and done .I wish it were not the case but sadly for me it was indeed a long wait for a product that did not do what I bought it to do in the first place and I ended up selling it at a loss and buying the Griffin .
Wow. I think you have a strong point there. If I have to change out rad I'm Su Fuk D. EVERYTHING, everything is where radiator would be. Oh well. I drove it today so hard and it was pretty hot. I have no other options at moment. I'll probably sell car if that is gonna be the case.
You can let a little Radiator stop you man not after all this work if it needs one get one and fix it man
It was pretty hot today, car ran great. Going to cross my fingers that it stays that way. If radiator needs replaced with full size I guess it will need to. I know it will be a major undertaking.
I hope not man for your sake but that radiator set up caused me some big headaches and the temps didn't come into check til I got rid of it .
Stuck in traffic for over an hour and hot as fuuuuuh, seems good. I checked cap and it seems fine too. Still gonna buy a new one.
See what I mean about no space?
I think that small ass fan is a part of your issue. The fmic blocks a lot of air flow to the rad so you need a larger fan to compensate.

I may be crazy.
wow you definitely don't have any room in the bay from the look of that pic
I just finished beating the car hard. No tire spin that I noticed. Was racing this. So nice. AND FASST
Alright, so I am experiencing another problem now and I think it is with the TPS. When I accelerated, sometimes it jumps like a wild horse and feels like all of the power is jumping to the wheels and then back off and then again. It's fucking insane, and it is sporadic, driving me nuts. I asked at King about this problem and the guy I spoke with mentioned the TPS as being a problem on some k20's and not others, mentioned trimming it back and after that I lost his advice in a sea of WTF. Any of you guys can elaborate? This is where I am going to figure out a few more things. Some of you guys are amazing at the things you know and not only that the concepts of how they work. Amazing. I'm not looking to be a total gearhead as I need to spend that time on my sax becoming a monster some day. But we all need little diversions here and there, right?
Sax I have never had any issues with a TPS but hear its fairly common .Have you looked at the tps in k pro to see if it goes thru the scale evenly when you depress the gas pedal slowly while just sitting in your driveway with the key on engine off ? Have you done a data log and watched it in the log to see what the tps is doing ?
I haven't but I will now that you mention it. Thanks. Have you had any problem with studs?
I never really had issues with lug studs except for when a friend cross threaded one of mine while outting the rims on. But I'm getting new axles and hubs for the track because I snapped an axle like a toothpick friday at the track and the hubs come with extended studs.

Wow. Mugen lugs. They went on easy enough. I put tgem on tight. Maybe I should have used a torque wrench.
I've never had an issue. Then again, I've had extended lugs for 3 years. I forget the brand though
Extended lugs for slicks?
I'm begging to see the look of the car with wheels on it. POST UP!!! LOL

Coilovers for next season.
Need to lower it some! What size are the rims and tires?
They look like 15's right? 17x9+35 tgey look better in person. Muchhh better.
Looks good, definitely needs that drop!
I'll join in the wagon. Needs moar low. But then again my car sits high compared to other/most rsx. Because I run a taller tire. But I do really like the rims. :thumb:

My car isn't particularly low either, but I think a little low is ok.
Thanks Adam. I hear that coilovers drop car a half inch. I think that wouls be good for starters. Don't get me wrong, I like a little drop but dragging on speedbumps at stock height? Where can I go from there?
Coilovers will basically drop you how ever low you want. And yea my exhaust scrapes on speed bumps all the time so I feel your pain
s4 IG-petefromthestreets
My tps I think is going bad
Really? what exhaust do you guys have? My car is like about 1.5'' lower than stock, maybe only 1.25'' and I have a 3'' downpipe and exhaust that does hang down a little low, and I've never scrapped on speed bumps.
And yes, sax, as adam already said, coilovers are height adjustable, so you can set them up however you like.
The civic chassis tucks the exhaust in the tunnel better then the dc5. For some reason they decided we didn't need an exhaust tunnel worth a flying fuck. Ive got a 3" thermal r&d but I'm interested in ktuned's oval pipe exhaust that will allow for a little more clerance.

The cucaracha. It cuts out tgen comes on
hard. It's strange. I will have to do a datalog and make sure but a few people have mentioned that they go bad and the description sounds like my problem.
Yeah that about the exhaust. If it was tucked like a mangina I'd drop car like a hot virgin dying to be deflowered. I'd slam her ass. :p
Ktuned? Hmm, just keep dragging, exhaust will flatten out nicely. :D
