Sweet! I bought a Transmission with a TSX 6th gear. I'm going to swap in a 4.3 final drive then send the gears off to be shot peened and then send them off to cryogenically treated ;)
As long as they last me a year from then I will be happy lol

I'm pretty interested to see how long these gears last! I wish I would have shot peened mine but o well. I'm thinking about going with an rsx 5 speed if anything happens. Will probably switch over my treated final and shot peen everythingQuote:

Where did I read about... a 5 speed ep3 tranny fitting in our cars? Idk if it was this thread or mot, but I want to look into a new tranny as a back up for the current one. Lets start a best bang-for-your-buck tranny thread

definatly need that thread, I can clear it up a bit. The ep3 trans is not direct bolt in the shift cable bracket bolts on differently and the speedo sensor is different. But the ep3 gears can be put directly into our case...just need a new countershaft bearingQuote:

The box is just way bigger than i expected. They have like peice of plastic you can slide in so the battery won't slide i may just expoxy that in and cut the box slightly shorter. either that or i have to mount it right behind the seat rather than off to the side of the trunk right behind the wheel well :think:

Only thing i have been up to with the car is fawking with the ABS module. Since i installed TC my light has been on. A fault code shows for all 4 wheel sensors. Honda said my module is bad. And i can't even begin to fathom and idea as to how it could have died. I always disconnect the battery before i work on my car so i know it didn't short out. I checked all my wiring and everything is on point. Looks like i am gonna have to replace my abs module just to use TC its ridiculousQuote:

I don't remember what the position should be but mine acted hella funny when it was in the wrong position.
Just found out my switch is currently wrong. My ABS module doesn't work at all because of it. It just displays trouble codes for all 4 wheel sensors. Gonna flick the switch after work and hopefully it will work.Quote:

That was indeed the issue, just flicked the switch and my lights are off and TC can now detect the wheel sensors again! pretty damn stoked!
