^ Do it! I just found a BRAND NEW 2011 Ruckus for $1999 at a dealership. 0 miles, hoping to work out a nice deal. Especially because it's 2.5 hours from me :spaz:
That one is sold. Found a dealership 15 minutes from my house that has 2012's in stock for $2,299 + tax. Comes out to $2,497 all said and done. I want to see how much I can drop the price before taxes. And if they have a 2011 in stock brand new as a left over, I'll see how much lower I can get that for. Most likely going tomorrow morning so we'll see!
one of my boys just bought a ruckus... now that we have one locally in the club I see all the hype about it... thing is awesome and fun
OC cruise week is next week/weekend. Who's going?
I think I might just be there !
Mine wont be ready but I am haha
Ok my friend said the 49cc is what he got and if you get the 150 you need tags and insurance.
In NY you need tags and insurance on any type of scooter. So, here we go!

Brand new 2012. Sick price too, under MSRP and these things never sell under MSRP. :yay:
Your a big guy though speed. You put that full court press on him huh? Lol
Absolutely! Dude was a real dick too. Here's the low down of what happened:
I called a local Honda Powersports dealership on Wednesday because I saw a listing on cycletrader for a bunch of 2012's for $2,299 CASH. Funny thing is MSRP on a 2012 is $2,570 and is never sold for under that, so I had to find out what was up. I was told that $2,299 is the price, and all I'd have to pay is tax on it, so it would come out to $2,497.29.
I showed up there yesterday, some salesman greets me and talks to me very rudely so I told him to take a step back because I don't like how he's talking to me. Fast forward a few minutes, he sits me down and tells me it's $2,299 + a $210 freight + tax. I said forget it and left. Then I called about an hour later and asked to speak to a sales manager.
I explained to the sales manager that I was not only treated disrespectfully, but the salesman wasn't honoring the price posted online. I said that I see they have a lot of negative reviews online and I don't mind adding my experience at all, and he said the best he could do was split the freight fee with me. So I went back, and got my Ruckus for $2,299 + 105 for split freight = $2,404. That's $166 less than MSRP. Full tank of gas, everything is phresh, and I have a 1 year warranty on the entire scoot. Straight win in my book.
:lildevil:
Lmfao. You sir are the type of buyer those guys hate. Lol. But awesome score dude. Lol
You know what it is, I'm going to buy a brand new vehicle and the guy is treating me like he just wants me to leave. Would he do the same if I went to buy a 2012 Ducati? Definitely not. I understand it's commission based, but that doesn't mean customer service goes out the window. Know what I mean? They definitely hate it, but I was extremely nice, reasonable, and a straight up buyer. Literally his easiest sale ever, but he made it hard for no reason.
:fart:
Just bought an air scoop and a R6 LED Taillight for my Ruckus :wiggle:
Post pics or fail! Lol
Goodmorning and Happy Mother's Day!! :wavey:
